Visitation Ministry

The Mission of this ministry is to visit those parishioners who are unable to attend a regular Church servicde or to visit other Catholics in area nursing homes. Those in the ministry will visit Clyde E. Lassen Veterans Nursing Home and Westminster St. Augustine on a regular basis to bring the Body of Christ to them. Home visitations can be made to those parishioners who are unable to attend due to a health condition.

Requirement: Parishioners who minister to those in nursing homes and and those taking communion to the home-bound must complete the "Protecting God's Children" program and be fingerprinted. Those visitors taking communiion must also be certified as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist.
