Rev. Guy Noonan

Father Guy Noonan is the founding Pastor of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish. He was ordained in 1976, was a Franciscan Friar for thirty years, and then came to the Diocese of St. Augustine in 2000.

Father Guy took his bachelor's (honors: Phi Beta Kappa) and Master's (magna cum laude) at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. He then taught in various high schools over a number of years before assuming an administrative position at the San Pedro Center in Winter Park, Florida.

Father Guy was then assigned to the Archdiocese of Minneapolis, Minnesota where he pastored in the inner city for 10 years. During that time has also received a grant from the Busch Foundation which led him to studies in Europe. 

While in Europe, Father Guy pursued a European equivalent to a Masters Degree in International Business and a Doctorate in Theology (summa cum laude) from the Jesuit Faculty Centre Sevres in Paris, France.
