Joseph Colsant

Originally from Chicago, (GO CUBS!) Joe has lived in Saint Augustine since 1988 where he served as an altar server at the Cathedral. He started his music ministry under Sr. Patricia Consier, PhD, in 1991 as a freshman in high school.  He has been music director since 2003. Joe earned a bachelors degree in music education from THE Florida State University, (GO NOLES) and a masters degree in conducting performance from the University of North Florida.  What Joe loves more than anything in his work at OLGC is to see parishioners be successful in creating beautiful music, the aesthetic experience where the hair stands up on your arms. Joe would also love to see more musicians from all generations stepping up to serve, even if they do not think they have "any talent."  Please come and talk to me so we can develop your gifts for the benefit of the community! 

Joe is a husband (Stephanie, 2001) and father (Joseph and Evan).
